Calling all high schoolers!

Is creativity your passion? Are you eager to gain leadership and work experience? Step into NLArts this summer and inspire the next generation of young artists—all while enjoying the energy and excitement of NLArts!

What you’ll gain as a CiT:

—> Learn from experienced mentors: Work closely with skilled teaching artists who will guide you in task management, conflict resolution, and communication.

—> Develop essential skills: Strengthen your abilities in time management, observation, leadership, and fostering a positive environment for younger campers.

—> Build confidence and maturity: Take on meaningful responsibilities, practice problem-solving, and gain experience leading creative activities.

—> Connect through art: Engage in all the fun of NLArts’ summer curriculum while inspiring creativity in others.

Your role as a CiT:

—> Attend every full day of registered camp session to make the most of out of the experience.

—> Model kindness and respect: Set an example for younger campers by embodying NLArts’ core values.

—> Encourage teamwork and participation: Actively engage with campers during activities and take initiative in leading small-group projects.

—> Support camp operations: Assist with daily tasks, maintain a positive environment, and work alongside teaching artists to ensure a successful camp experience.

Additional Details:

—> This is a non-paid opportunity designed to provide valuable experience, mentorship, and training for future leadership roles.

—> Upon completing, you’ll earn a letter of recommendation support your college, internship, or job applications.

—> This role is available to fulfill service hour endorsements
