An evening of creative leisure and community building in a safe and inspiring environment.
-
First Friday Art Parties foster an environment that supports and encourages self- expression, celebration, and unity.
First Friday Art Parties aren't just for the kids—they're designed to open up creative avenues for parents and caregivers too!
-
First Friday Art Parties are most appropriate for children who are 10 to 14 years old with opportunities for high school students through the Counselor in Training Program (CiT). If your child is 7-9 but a good fit, just reach out!
-
First Friday Art Parties are from 6:00pm - 8:30pm. All guests are encouraged to arrive no later than 6:15pm and picked up by 8:35 at the latest. The drop off and pick up location is the front door of the NLNA at 3rd and Fairmount.
-
The party vibes and themes are curated by diverse visiting artists alongside NLArts admins and will change each month. The party schedule will always include creating, collaborating, snacks, and FOR SURE dancing.
-
Completed waiver forms are required by the start of the party and can be returned either digitally or in person. All necessary documents will be emailed to the primary contact prior to the event.
We always encourage children to dress in clothes to express their personality and uniqueness, but keep in mind we will be creating art and getting messy at times.
We kindly ask for all valuables to be kept at home. This includes toys, trading cards, tablets, and gaming devices.
